After a traumatic brain injury, I spent years rebuilding, and carrying more shame about it than I ever admitted.
Music was my way back. Writing helped me remember. And this year, 50 days inside the Dharma Artist Collective’s Dharmathon, I finally stopped hiding.
I made an album. I made a documentary. I came back to work, and to myself, fully and honestly for the first time in a long time.
Whether it’s a song, a meditation, or a prayer, I’m always chasing what’s real.
